Geography & Biomes

Still a WIP!

Learn about the physical and ecological aspects of the world phonies inhabit!

Confibula (Ba-d)'s landscape is slight, with shallow seas and a single continent, and a few islands. There are oceanic trenches that reach over 1 km in depth, but most of the planet's topography is very flat. Tides have a very strong effect on the landscape as a result. Below is a simple map based on the biomes found on the planet.

On Confibula, most of the biomes are made unique by either the tides or the ice ring's effects. On the equator, there is a noticeable "red band" which is marked by a presence of warmer climates, high anthocyanin content in autotrophs and high melanin content in heterotrophs. This is because the ice rings tend to "scrape" the upper levels of the atmosphere while also reflecting light directly onto the surface, allowing more radiation to hit it.

Check out the biomes! (this is still a WIP as I compile images and appropriate descriptions for each biome.)
