The Wetlands

This page is all about the wetlands, a most unique biome in Confibula.

The wetlands on the planet are similarly iconic because of one key feature: Everything is purple! Many plantlike organisms in the wetlands use cobalt II chloride in their skin to gauge whether or not they should seek out water, so one can see plants turn from deep blue to bright pink as water levels rise. Plants in the wetlands make moving across the water's margin their lifestyle, so much of the flora in the wetlands can be seen shifting around too.
