What else can you do to customize your phony? You can give them accessories!

Accessories/body mods all must be drawn onto the import. This means that they're all unique, but it does mean that each one has to be approved beforehand and thus are prone to requiring changes if we at the approvals team deem your mods to not fit the guidelines. Thanks in advance for your cooperation!

Basically, the main guideline here is that phonies are creatures and don't wear clothes the same way that humans do. They don't wear stuff like shirts or pants like us, so any official clothes should reflect that lore bit.

Natural Clothes

Phonies and Palindromes create their own clothes made of bones. Confibulan bones are made of hairlike fibers covered in tiny silica crystals which lock together, but they can be unraveled and woven into textiles. These clothes by default are white, but can be dyed into various pale colors too. Because they're made of bones, these clothing items can have a lot of significance, or not. Clothes must be only textile, and any beadwork/etc counts as jewelry.

Natural clothes must be crafted and dyed (if desired) at the Crafting center.

The item is crafted from a bone and 10 pebbles.

Jewelry & Piercings

You can also give your Confibulan jewelry or piercings! Because they love stones so much, they also love to decorate themselves with stones. Jewelry/piercings count as any sort of accessory which includes beadwork, stones, metal, etc. If something is just made of fabric, it can count as normal clothing. The stones/beads/whatever found in jewelry can also be any color, and doesn't require any dyeing. Jewelry and piercings can be anywhere on the body, as well.

Jewelry must be crafted at the Crafting center.

Synthetic Clothes

Humans have left behind a lot of scraps on Confibula, so many choose to use these leftovers instead of going to the effort to wear traditional clothes. You can dress your character in things like tarps or wires if you want! Phonies cannot wear regular human clothes. For example, if your phony found a shirt, it wouldn't be able to wear it with its legs through the armholes and so on. Instead, it might use it as a blanket. (This is a very flexible part of the game so please bear with us with approvals for these things.)

Unique Eyes

Ever wanted to give your phony something cool happening with their eye? The Unique Eye grants your phony an unpassable trait that allows you to do whatever you want with the eye. While the eye itself should remain circular, you have more freedom and can do things which contradict the eye guide. You can make the pupils different shapes like hearts, slits, W's, X's and so on, or you can change the color of the eye to have sectoral heterochromia. You can also make the pupil color something unnatural, like white or a bright color.

Unique eyes can be obtained through events.

Unique eyes cannot be crafted.

Scars

Phonies can have scars or limb losses too. There aren't too many restrictions as to what you can do when you apply a scarring, but do keep in mind that phony innards are blue so their wounds should be blue as well. Phonies are remarkably able to go on despite large injuries so you have a lot of freedom here. Scars can also be used to apply "sfx" style stuff like stitches. Do note that a phony will lose 2 SPE per each leg lost, and 2 PER per each eye lost or blinded due to injury. If you are blinding your phony, make sure to make the pupil grey.

Scars can be obtained through prompts here.

Scars cannot be crafted.

Prosthetics

You can also give your phony a prosthetic or some other kind of mobility aid. If you're replacing a lost limb, you'll need to apply a scarring first to lose that limb. Prosthetics can come in synthetic, human-made varieties (be it they were made for phonies like the shopkeeper's, or perhaps your phony found a robotic arm or human prosthetic and wore it anyways) or natural varieties made from materials like scales or bones. Prosthetics can have joints or be more simple like pegs, hooks or wheels. A prosthetic leg will restore 1 SPE to a phony who has lost a limb.

Prosthetics can be obtained at the Crafting center
